Richie Hawtin is always creating opportunities for younger artists, and the latest comes in the form of the Richie Hawtin PhD Scholarship in Electronic Music, Cultures and Production at the University of Huddersfield in England.
Hawtin is collaborating with the university to select a winning applicant who will be offered tutorial support from the techno pioneer himself, as well as opportunities for creative production work, collaborative projects, publication, and the expectation to gain teaching experience.
