British electronic musician Floating Points otherwise known as Sam Shepherd has announced a 2023 show with Shabaka Hutchings, Four Tet, Caribou, and The Los Angeles Studio Orchestra who will perform Promises at the Hollywood Bowl on September 20, 2023.
Floating Points along with the late free jazz saxophonist Pharoah Sanders collaborated with the London Symphony Orchestra on their collaborative album Promises which was released back in March 2021.
The album achieved high rankings in year-end lists including a No. 1 spot in Time Magazine’s The 10 Best Albums of 2021.
