Melle Mel, an MC in the pioneering hip hop group Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five, has been arrested and charged with felony domestic violence.
The artist – whose real name is Melvin Glover – was arrested on June 26 and has since been charged and released on a $50,000 (£39,000) bond.
On social media, the alleged victim – Jori Jordon – shared her accusations against Glover where she claims that he hit her left eye in a hotel room in Los Angeles.
