Local authorities have deemed Hurricane Hilary a significant risk to the festival grounds of Interstellar, and the festival has been canceled.
Fans of Factory 93 and Dreamstate have been gearing up to get their dose of progressive house sounds this week as the debut edition of their collaborative festival, Interstellar Experience, was set to take place on August 19-20. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans as a tropical storm south of Baja California intensified over the past 24 hours to become forecasted as the now Category 4 Hurricane Hilary.
