The Prodigy have changed the lyrics to their track ‘Smack My Bitch Up’.
Released in 1997, on album ‘The Fat of the Land’, the track was later voted in 2012 as the most controversial song of all time in a poll by the Performing Right Society — despite its popularity at time of release.
Even though it is known as one of the group’s most popular tracks with over 100 million streams on Spotify, the band decided 26 years later to change the lyrics.
