German maestro Paul van Dyk has been at the forefront of the Electronic Dance Music scene for a long, long while now. When the so-called Proto-Trance turned into Trance by fusing with a style of production that stemmed from Eurodance but was not quite, Paul was there. When Trance took off in the golden era of the late 1990s, Paul was also there. And, actually, Mr van Dyk has been a part of the scene without a year we could tie him to.
