Gorillaz have launched an “augmented reality show” with performances in London’s Piccadilly Circus and New York’s Times Square.
Taking over the landmarks, the animated band announced these shows earlier this month asking fans to download an app for them to watch the performances.
Blending real life and their iconic cartoon style, the show is directed by Jamie Hewlett alongside the Emmy-nominated director Fx Goby.
