Almost two years ago—just a few months removed from the abrupt disbandment of Daft Punk—it was revealed that Thomas Bangalter would be responsible for the score of a new ballet. As we had said back then, the opportunity for both halves of Daft Punk to pursue individual work was somewhat of a “silver lining” to the split. And Bangalter had immediately begun to show signs of that on that front, becoming part of Mythologies, a 90-minute ballet choreographed by Angelin Preljocaj that would take place at the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux in Bordeaux, France….
