A new bill was introduced in the Senate this week intended on making ticket pricing for live music events more transparent.
The bipartisan bill was brought forward on April 25 and is called The Transparency in Charges for Key Events Ticketing (TICKET) Act.
This new legislation would require all costs to be stated upfront, rather than sneaking in fees at the last minute, which is a tactic commonly employed by Ticketmaster and other prominent ticketing websites.
