A DJ for Northampton Town F.C. has apologised after reportedly “ruining” Whamageddon, a game where players attempt to avoid Wham!’s ‘Last Christmas’ until December 24, for more than 7,000 people.
Matt Facer, aka DJ Matty, a disc jockey for the League Two football team, was performing at the Sixfields Stadium on December 2 during their game against Portsmouth when he decided to drop ‘Last Christmas’.
