A frightening moment unfolded during Coachella’s opening weekend when a lighting fixture reportedly fell into the crowd during John Summit’s surprise set at the Do LaB stage, injuring at least one attendee and forcing the area to temporarily shut down.
The incident occurred Friday evening shortly after 8 p.m. at the Do LaB stage — a fan-favorite part of the festival known for surprise electronic music performances and immersive stage design.
