The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has been fined thousands of dollars after two performances exceeded the event’s strict city curfew during Weekend 2.
According to reports from TMZ, festival organizers were hit with $44,000 in fines from the City of Indio after sets from Anyma and Justin Bieber ran past the festival’s 1:00 a.m. cutoff.
The curfew is part of the festival’s operating agreement with the city, which hosts the event each year at the Empire Polo Club in California.
