Just as Pacha New York prepares to open, replacing Brooklyn Mirage, the scene is hit with more bad news. Brooklyn Storehouse, the venue that filled the void when Brooklyn Mirage fell apart last Summer, will be closing its doors this Fall.
The venue took to social media to make the announcement, claiming that the venue was always intended to be a temporary venture until the future development of the site was determined. Now, that time has come, as BNYDC has confirmed development plans for the site, which will see the site repurposed for climate infrastructure and clean energy production.
