As the Motor City prepares for the 20th-anniversary edition of Movement Music Festival this weekend, Detroit Mayor Mary Sheffield yeterday signed a proclamation officially recognizing the week of May 18-26, 2026, as “Detroit Techno Week,” honoring the festival’s weeklong spirit of music, culture, and community.
