The Whitlams are heading back to their favourite pubs this October, announcing the Return to Rock Island tour — a nine-show East Coast run that frontman Tim Freedman describes as “wildly different” to the band’s recently completed Orchestral ’26 run.
The tour opens at Brunswick Heads’ Hotel Brunswick on Oct. 2 and takes in Coffs Harbour, two nights each at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel, Sydney’s Metro Theatre and Brisbane’s The Triffid, plus a stop at Wombarra Bowlo on Oct. 18.
