Fusion Festival Resumes After Nearby Fires Force Temporary Evacuation

One of Europe’s most unique electronic music festivals briefly came to a halt on Thursday after fires broke out near the grounds of Fusion Festival in Lärz, Germany.

Organizers suspended the event shortly before 7 p.m. local time while emergency crews responded to two separate fires outside the festival site. Guests calmly made their way to the former airfield’s runway as smoke became visible nearby.

Fortunately, firefighters quickly brought the situation under control. Around two hours later, organizers confirmed the festival had safely resumed.
