HUGEL continues to push the boundaries of house music by collaborating with Quavo on his new single ‘Where She Come From’, out now on Make The Girls Dance Records.
‘Where She Come From’ opens with Quavo’s hypnotic flow and ad-libs over a percussive groove that pulls on the tech house and Afro house end of HUGEL’s range rather than the Latin house he’s known for. Quavo saves his verse for the second half, with the second drop hitting harder, carried by a low rolling bassline. The production reads American more than Latin, with Murda Beatz featured on the credits.
