James Hype and Volkoder have linked up for a new single called ‘1, 2, 3,’ out now on Tomorrowland Music/SoundOn. The track pulls its groove and vocal hook from Mary J. Blige’s ‘Family Affair,’ reworking the R&B classic into a house cut built for club sound systems rather than radio.
James Hype arrives at the collaboration fresh off his summer residency at Hï Ibiza, a run that’s become one of the bigger recurring bookings on the island in recent years.
