Burning Man has introduced a new laser safety protocol ahead of this year’s gathering in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert. Handheld lasers remain prohibited, while larger systems used by art installations, theme camps and Mutant Vehicles will face additional registration, inspection and operating requirements.
