I first went to Day Trip Music Festival in 2022. It was the first festival back in California since COVID, and they had to move it to the NOS Event Center at the last minute. My friends and I had a blast and said that one day we would return. Fast forward four years, and my bachelor party just so happens to fall on the weekend of the 2026 edition, now held at the Queen Mary Waterfront. I was stunned to see how far the festival has come in just a few years, and one thing is certain: house music has found the perfect home in Long Beach and shines its brightest at Day Trip.
