Over 27 editions since it began in 1998 on founder Jimmy Bundscuh’s 500-acre family-owned farm in Salmo, British Columbia, the remote electronic music campout has grown from a one-stage rave built by a crew of local kids to a crown jewel of the North American festival circuit, drawing crowds of close to 20,000 ravers who make the annual pilgrimage to its pristine site in the Canadian wilderness, nestled among the Kootenay Mountains and the glacier-fed Salmo River.
