As Bayfront Park is in the midst of its transformation into Ultra Music Festival 2026, a familiar drama is unfolding in Miami’s City Hall. Ultra Music Festival’s current contract with the City of Miami to host the festival in Bayfront Park each year is set to expire in 2027. The City of Miami is now considering a new proposal that would give Ultra Music Festival a 20-year deal to remain at Bayfront Park. As expected, the NIMBY locals are once again complaining and doing their best to get rid of or put increasing limits on the flagship festival.
