“Praise The Lord (For A Woman)” by Omer Netzer is earthy in a way that makes Southern soul, blues, Americana and alt-country feel right at home in the same room. The new single is horn-drenched and gritty, and feels like a French Quarter revival march, a smoky late-night juke joint, and a cinematic Southern drama. It’s a rootsy tune with plenty of motion, but the emotional heart is certainly human.
