A 29-year-old man has died after suffering critical injuries in a parking lot collision following the final day of VELD Music Festival at Toronto’s Downsview Park.
Toronto Police responded shortly before midnight on Saturday after receiving reports that a pedestrian had been struck and pinned beneath a pickup truck in a parking lot near the festival grounds. Fire crews freed the victim before paramedics transported him to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police later confirmed he had died from those injuries.
