The single lands as the centerpiece of Get Mean, a twelve-track LP arriving September 18 via Atlantic Records, the group’s first major-label outing and first full-length since their horror-film soundtrack The Runner in 2022. Matthews and Augustus Muller tracked the album across eight locations, from West Texas motels to Italian farmhouses, filtering a breakup, family loss, and a near-split of the band into what Matthews calls “the most extreme period of my life.”
