The children’s music-industrial complex just got a glow-up—or maybe a glow stick. DJ and producer Lenny Pearce, best known for turning nursery rhymes into surprisingly legit club tracks. He has signed a development deal with Disney that essentially answers the question no one asked but everyone will now have to live with: what if your toddler’s playlist slapped harder than yours? The partnership includes a forthcoming album, Disney Jr. Music: Lenny Pearce Toddler Techno. It features remixes of familiar Disney Jr. songs—because apparently “The Wheels on the Bus” just needed a bass drop.
