A new feature-length documentary exploring the history of Goldie’s Rufige Kru project has been released on YouTube. Titled The Rufige Files, it was produced and directed by Goldie alongside Army Of Few and London Records, and became available on 5th March.
The film is told primarily through the perspectives of Goldie and his long-term collaborator Submotive, with contributions from Marc Mac, Photek, dBridge and Heist. Together, they map out how Rufige Kru developed its sound and visual identity, and how it has maintained its influence on drum and bass and jungle over three decades.
