One of Tomorrowland‘s most recognizable traditions will be missing from weekend one of Tomorrowland 2026: the fireworks and pyro.
According to Belgian media, Tomorrowland will not be permitted to launch its traditional aerial fireworks during the first weekend 2026 festival after local authorities determined the current fire risk was too high following recent hot and dry weather conditions. While the iconic sky-high fireworks displays have been ruled out, stage pyrotechnics and on-stage fire effects will still be part of the festival experience.
