AlphaTheta is bringing lighting automation straight into the DJ booth. The company announced that rekordbox for Mac/Windows and PRO DJ LINK Bridge now support SoundSwitch, the lighting automation software from inMusic that syncs lighting effects to the beats and phrases within a track. The update means DJs can build custom or auto-generated light shows that play back in sync with whatever they’re mixing in rekordbox, while PRO DJ LINK Bridge extends that same synchronization to hardware like the CDJ-3000X, CDJ-3000, CDJ-1500X, DJM-V10, and DJM-A9.
