Carl Cox is putting his own stamp on one of this summer’s defining Ibiza moments. The DJ has reworked Vikthor & Pianoalani’s ‘Legacy’, a track that soundtracked sunrise sets during his residency at [UNVRS] Ibiza, with the remix landing September 4 via his own label, Intec.
The original version of ‘Legacy’ had already built a following among those catching the tail end of the night at [UNVRS], where Cox has held down a residency this season. Rather than tearing the track down and rebuilding it from scratch, Cox says he focused on preserving what was already working.
