It has been 11 years since we last spoke with DJ Rap. In that time the scene she helped build has changed shape more than once, as has the way music is made, released and heard. Her output has not slowed. Over the past year Propa Talent, the label she founded, has released a steady run of her work, from the solo single ‘Zeitgeist’ in January to collaborations with General Levy on ‘Junglist Nation’ and Tippa Irie on ‘One Door’ over the summer.
