Long before anyone was talking about drops or festival mainstages, there was a guy in a Paris apartment kitchen wiring together synthesizers and an eight-track tape machine, trying to figure out what electronic music could actually sound like. That record was Oxygene, and fifty years later, Jean-Michel Jarre is giving it the reissue treatment it probably should have gotten decades ago.
