“Pinch Me Darling” is Leave The Bones’ first original single, and it is released at a point in life when experience tends to change how music is felt and understood. The Folk and Ambient track was released when she was 40 and has the feeling of an artist who has arrived at a place where there is at last something personal and meaningful to say. The song doesn’t sound like an attention-seeking intro but like a real beginning.
