DJs using rekordbox and some of the most common CDJ and XDJ players are being urged to update their software and firmware following the discovery of a security vulnerability involving PRO DJ LINK.
AlphaTheta has acknowledged the vulnerability, which could potentially allow an unauthorized person with access to the same PRO DJ LINK network to view files stored on connected devices. Depending on the setup, that could include files on USB drives or SD cards inserted into affected players, as well as data stored on a Windows PC or Mac running rekordbox.
