Seven Lions is taking his catalog into the concert hall this fall. The producer has announced Opus Harmonia, a one-night-only performance with the Seattle Symphony at Benaroya Hall on September 25. Joining Jeff for the show are Brieanna Grace, Dylan Matthew, Fiora, Haliene, and Jonathan Mendelsohn.
It’s also a first for the orchestra. The Seattle Symphony has never collaborated with an electronic artist in this kind of format, making Opus Harmonia something of a test case for how far these orchestral crossovers can go beyond the now-familiar template of a DJ playing over pre-recorded string sections.
