London Records has handed Sophie Lloyd the keys to its back catalogue, and the first results of that arrangement are out now. The Glitterbox resident has released ‘Sexual‘ by Maria Rowe and ‘Do You Dream‘ by Carlton, the opening two tracks from her upcoming London Revisited EP.
The project sees Lloyd given free rein over the storied label’s archive, tasked with picking deep cuts and rarities rather than the obvious hits. London Revisited will land as a four-track compilation, with East 17’s ‘It’s Alright‘ and Carmel’s ‘More! More! More!‘ still to arrive later this summer, before the full EP gets a vinyl…
