Thomas Bangalter made an unexpected return to the DJ booth in Paris on October 30, joining a celebration marking the 20th anniversary of DJ Mehdi’s influential album Lucky Boy.
The former Daft Punk member appeared at Wanderlust, where Ed Banger Records had brought together artists and longtime friends of the late French producer. Bangalter was not among the announced performers, making his appearance an unexpected addition to an evening already filled with familiar names from the French electronic music scene.
